Stars: 1/2 star

I have to admit this has to be one of the stupidist, poorly-planned films I have seen in a long time. I honestly saw the movie because Vin Diesel was in it, and I think he is hot, but he should re-think things next time when considering going with this director or writer. The plot was all over the place. It made absolutely NO sense whatsoever. I watched the movie, and am still confused. I left thinking.. “so just what the hell was this movie supposed to be about?” The plot was simply way underdeveloped, making for a very confusing story line. I figured it at least earned half a star for the graphic effects and martial art fight scenes, if nothing else. Do not waste you money on this film. In my opinion, I wouldn’t even waste my time watching it on TV if it ever makes it that far.

  1. That is sad to hear… Vin has so much potential but ever since he came out and said he was bi it seems he has not had the best roles…

  2. True, but I cannot wait to see Fast and Furious, the 4th edition with all the original folks back again

  3. I like pitch black a lot, it was a low budget movie with a good story line. But Bab AD looks like a run of the mill sci fi plot from the late 80’s early 90’s

  4. Honestly, ther are some movies on the Sci Fi channel that are done better

  5. I did go see a good movie yesterday.. but it’s a real chick flick as you guys like to refer to them as. It was “Nights in Rodanthe”. Talk about sad though!

  6. Ah I want to see that. I saw Eagle Eye. As soon as I get more time I plan on getting back into the swing of the movie blog scene.

  7. I want to see Nights in Rodanthe too, I like Richard Greg movies, for some reason, maybe a la An Office and a Gentleman , hehe.

  8. LOL, well, this movie was positively a tear jerker, and that is coming from someone who never cries in movies. I didn’t cry in this one, but my eyes did cloud up, and I thought I was going to.. along with the rest of the theater. My mom read the book before seeing it, and said the book is equally as sad. I think I might have to buy this movie when it comes out. I don’t do that often, but sometimes, when you find a movie that touches you, you simply have to give in.

  9. I also saw The Women. It was pretty good. Kinda like a sequel to the sex and the city movie (well if they were to do it 10 or so years later lol).
